  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter Melted
  • 0.333 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup shredded coconut

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cocoa, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the shredded coconut.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled brownies before serving.
