  • 0.75 cup Nutella
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup flour
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the Nutella, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the flour until well combined.
  • Roll 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough into a ball and place it on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Flatten slightly with a fork.
  • Bake the cookies for exactly 10 minutes.
  • Transfer to a cooling rack.
  • In a double boiler, whisk egg whites and sugar for 2-3 minutes until thick and white.
  • Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and whip with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
  • Transfer the marshmallow into a pastry bag with a large star tip.
  • Pipe the underside of half the cookies with marshmallow and sandwich with another cookie.
  • Use a pastry torch to toast the marshmallow on top.
  • Serve and savor your Nutella Marshmallow Cookies!

Notes

For a twist, sprinkle crushed nuts or chocolate shavings on the marshmallow before toasting.
