  • 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup (10.75 ounces each)
  • 1 box chicken flavored Stove Top Stuffing (6 ounces)
  • to taste chicken broth to thin the mixture if too thick

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the condensed soup over them. Tip: Make sure the chicken is evenly covered for the best flavor.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until the chicken is easily shreddable. Tip: Check the chicken around the 3-hour mark to see if it's done.
  • Shred the chicken and add the stuffing mix, stirring well. Tip: Use two forks for easy shredding!
  • Cover and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the bread crumbs are moistened.
  • If the mixture seems too thick, add a little chicken broth until it reaches your desired consistency. Tip: Start with a small amount of broth, as you can always add more.
  • Serve the chicken and stuffing mixture on hamburger buns. Tip: Enjoy it with a side of pickles for an extra crunch!

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked vegetables like peas or carrots. You can also serve this mixture over mashed potatoes or rice for a comforting meal.
