Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 0.25 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices pepperoni optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles (2 triangles each). Press the seams to seal.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on half of each rectangle, leaving a small border.
  • Top the sauce with 2 tablespoons of cheese, 2 slices of pepperoni (if using), and another 2 tablespoons of cheese.
  • Moisten the edges of each rectangle with water, fold the dough over the filling, and seal the edges with a fork.
  • Pierce the top with a fork.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until the tops are lightly browned and the edges are crisp.
  • Allow the pizza pockets to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, omit the pepperoni and add your favorite veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms.
