  • 1 package mini pierogies follow package instructions for cooking
  • 5 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 pound kielbasa thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion coarsely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cook the mini pierogies according to package instructions. Boil them in water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the thinly sliced kielbasa and cook until browned, turning often. Set the kielbasa aside.
  • In another skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and sauté the coarsely chopped onion until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pierogies and kielbasa to the skillet with the onions. Stir well to coat everything in butter and heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve the pierogies and kielbasa warm and enjoy! Consider adding fresh herbs like parsley or chives on top for added flavor.
