can of crushed pineapple with juice

can of cherry pie filling

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
In a 9x13 baking dish, pour in the 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple with its juice.
Spread the 21 oz. can of cherry pie filling evenly over the pineapple.
Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the cherry pie filling.
Cut the unsalted butter into small squares and distribute them evenly over the cake mix.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is lightly browned.
Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
