Equipment

  • Muffin tin Regular size, greased with nonstick spray

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 2 tubes crescent roll dough 8 oz each
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk or more for desired consistency

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a regular muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully place each triangle in the individual muffin tins. Make sure the widest part of the dough is at the bottom, creating a cup shape.
  • Fill each crescent roll dough piece generously with cherry pie filling, using about 3 to 4 heaping tablespoons per bite. Don't be afraid to fill them up!
  • Carefully fold the dough around the filling, pulling in the three corners to enclose the cherry goodness. This will help keep the filling inside while baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 13-14 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and puffed up. Keep an eye on them to prevent over-browning.
  • While the bites are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk in a bowl until smooth and at your desired consistency. You can adjust the thickness by adding more milk or sugar.
  • Once the bites are warm and golden, drizzle the glaze over the top using a spoon for a sweet finishing touch.
