Instructions
 

  • If your quinoa and lentils are cold, warm them up in the microwave or on the stove until heated through. (This step takes about 2-3 minutes and helps the flavors meld better.)
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, lentils, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, and tomato sauce. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you like a little heat, sprinkle in some crushed red pepper.
