  • 2/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Reese's Pieces

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 11 x 13 metal or glass baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the brownies later.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Gradually add the eggs, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  • Slowly add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture, gently folding until just combined. Avoid overmixing to prevent cake-like brownies.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and sprinkle the Reese's Pieces on top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is firm and the center is moist.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

These brownies are best served warm with a scoop of ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
