Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1.5 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped onion
  • 0.25 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 egg egg
  • 0.5 cup barbeque sauce
  • 0.5 cup peach preserves

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a medium baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, hot pepper sauce, Cajun seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, dried parsley, chopped onion, bread crumbs, milk, and egg. Mix everything together until well combined. Use your hands for the best mixing results!
  • Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are spaced out to allow for even cooking.
  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Consider using a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
  • While the meatballs are baking, mix the barbeque sauce and peach preserves in a small bowl. This sauce adds a lovely glaze to the meatballs.
  • Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to a serving dish and pour the barbeque sauce mixture over them. Toss gently to coat the meatballs evenly.

Notes

For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of hot pepper sauce. You can serve these meatballs with rice, pasta, or on their own as a tasty appetizer!
