Ingredients

  • 14 oz Chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
  • 2 cups Scallions, chopped
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp Dark soy sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper powder adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the chicken thighs with soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes. While marinating, chop the scallions, separating the white and green parts.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and pan-fry until fully cooked.
  • Add the white parts of the scallions to the chicken in the pan. Cook until softened. If using larger chicken pieces, cover the pan with a lid and cook until the chicken is done.
  • Finally, add the green parts of the scallions and stir for 10-20 seconds to cook them.
  • Serve the dish by sprinkling more pepper powder or scallions if desired. Enjoy with rice or noodles.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add some chili flakes or fresh chopped chilies to the dish. No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
