Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 limes juiced and zest of 1 lime
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, lime juice, and lime zest.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the liquid mixture over them.
  • Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours.
  • Using two forks, shred the chicken in the slow cooker within the liquid.
  • Add the chopped cilantro and stir well. Adjust with more lime juice to taste.
