onion, chopped

grated cheese

cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

Instructions
Layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add a layer of chopped beef over the potatoes, followed by the chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle grated cheese over the beef and onions.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the layers.
Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Add a little water if sticking occurs.
Notes
Feel free to add extra seasoning like garlic powder or paprika for more flavor.
