Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cans (15.8 oz) Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15.25 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion diced
  • 0.5 cup barbecue sauce
  • 0.75 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup molasses
  • 14.5 oz chicken broth
  • 0.5 lb bacon, cooked and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 lb Kielbasa, cut into bite-size pieces

Instructions
 

  • In a large slow cooker, combine all the ingredients except for the kielbasa. Stir gently to mix everything well.
  • Place the kielbasa on top of the mixture and cover the slow cooker with the lid.
  • Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Before serving, stir in the kielbasa.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon and kielbasa and add more beans or vegetables for a hearty dish. No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
