Spicy Garlic Chilli Noodles

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 5 ounces dried wheat noodles or 300 g fresh noodles
  • 0.5 cup fresh coriander finely chopped
  • 2 unit spring onions finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon crispy chili oil homemade, optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large heatproof bowl, combine the chili powder (or flakes), minced garlic, and sugar.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the neutral oil over medium-high heat until it is very hot.
  • Carefully pour the hot oil into the bowl with the chili garlic mixture, and mix well.
  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, about 3 minutes for dried noodles.
  • Once cooked, add the noodles to the bowl with the sauce and toss to combine.
  • Top with coriander, spring onions, and crispy chili oil, if using. Mix thoroughly before serving.

Notes

For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of chili powder or flakes. Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or proteins to the noodles for a heartier meal.
