  • 1 lb spicy Italian sausage
  • 20 oz prepared cheese-filled ravioli
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 3 oz grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning for topping
  • 1 to taste salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 spray nonstick spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  • Cook the spicy Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  • Whisk in heavy cream and season with red pepper flakes and pepper; simmer until thickened.
  • Boil ravioli in salted water according to package instructions, then strain.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese to the sauce and adjust seasoning.
  • Layer sauce, ravioli, sausage, and mozzarella in the casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning and extra red pepper flakes on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for 10-15 more minutes.
  • Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
