Ingredients

  • 24 oz frozen meatballs (turkey, chicken, or beef)
  • 0.5 cup onion, diced
  • 10 oz sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.25 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 whole red bell pepper, chopped
  • red chili flakes (optional)
  • sesame seeds and green onion for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Place the frozen meatballs in a greased slow cooker. Make sure to spread them out evenly for even cooking.
  • Add the diced onion, sweet chili sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, honey, toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, ground ginger, and the chopped red bell pepper. Stir well to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. If you’re short on time, the high setting is a great option!
  • Stir in the diced red pepper and cook for an additional 30 minutes. This adds a fresh crunch to the dish.
  • Serve with a sprinkle of red chili flakes, sesame seeds, and green onions if desired. These garnishes add a beautiful finish and extra flavor!

Notes

These meatballs are great served over rice or noodles. For a spicier kick, add more red chili flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
