Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 oz white mushrooms cleaned and sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon each salt & pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • If using ground beef, divide it into 4 portions and shape each into a 1-inch thick patty.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté mushrooms with salt and pepper until tender, about 10 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce, toss, and cover to keep warm.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Season the top of each patty with steak seasoning. Place seasoned side down on the grill or skillet, then season the other side.
  • Cook for 3-6 minutes per side, depending on patty thickness, until caramelized.
  • Add Swiss cheese and cover to melt for 5-6 minutes for medium-rare burgers.
  • Let the burgers rest for 5 minutes after cooking.
  • Assemble burgers with sautéed mushrooms and desired toppings.
