  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 0.5 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 1 unit onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 unit carrot
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Dice the onion, chop the garlic cloves, and grate the carrot.
  • Prepare the Brussels sprouts by removing any loose or yellow leaves, trimming the bottom, and cutting each sprout into quarters.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  • Add the chopped garlic and ground turkey. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the turkey is browned.
  • Mix in the cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the grated carrot and Brussels sprouts. Add half a cup of water.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cook for 18-20 minutes until the turkey and Brussels sprouts are cooked through.

Notes

For added flavor, consider topping with a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. No alcoholic drinks allowed, please substitute with a non-alcoholic option.
