Equipment

  • Baking sheet To bake the stuffing balls.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cup mashed potatoes
  • 3 cup stuffing
  • 1.5 cup shredded turkey
  • 1 cup gravy
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper optional
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for crispy variation

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Warm the mashed potatoes and stuffing in the microwave or on the stovetop until they are easy to handle. This will make mixing simpler and help the ingredients combine better.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, stuffing, and shredded turkey. If you like a bit of spice, feel free to add black pepper to taste. Remember, the stuffing already has salt, so you might not need to add more.
  • Form the mixture into balls, pressing down firmly to ensure they hold together well. Aim for about 2 inches in diameter for each ball.
  • Place the formed balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and heated through.
  • Once baked, serve them hot on a plate and generously coat with hot gravy for extra flavor.
  • Enjoy your turkey stuffing balls with your family and friends!

Notes

For a crispy variation, coat the balls with seasoned panko before frying them in a mix of butter and grapeseed oil. Form the balls at room temperature, press panko on, and chill slightly before frying.
