  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into ½ inch cubes
  • 1.25 teaspoons turmeric
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.75 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • 0.5 unit lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  • Season the chicken pieces with turmeric, cumin, salt, pepper, and cayenne if desired.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked, stirring occasionally.

Notes

For a milder flavor, you can omit the cayenne pepper. This dish pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
