Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 4 vegan cream cheese
  • 1 to taste everything bagel seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Warm the almond milk slightly, then stir in the maple syrup. Add the yeast, stir, and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms. Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide the dough into small balls, flatten them, and place a small amount of vegan cream cheese in the center. Fold the dough over the cream cheese and roll into a ball. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter version, you can add a bit more maple syrup to the dough.
