  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 box dry onion soup mix (both packets)
  • 2 tubes crescent rolls (12 oz. each)
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • to taste Dill pickles, chopped
  • to taste Mustard
  • to taste Additional condiments

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown and crumble the ground beef with both packets of dry onion soup mix, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain the meat in a colander and press down with paper towels to remove excess liquid.
  • Unroll one tube of crescent rolls into the prepared baking dish, flattening to seal seams.
  • Top with the cooked ground beef, cheese slices, chopped pickles, and mustard.
  • Unroll the second tube of crescent rolls over the top, sealing seams.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Cut into squares and serve with additional condiments, if desired.
