Equipment

  • 9x9 inch baking pan For baking the brownies.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chopped white chocolate together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly to avoid cooking the eggs in the next step.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined, ensuring the mixture is pale and fluffy.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Gently fold in the all-purpose flour and salt until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the brownies tough.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly to ensure uniform baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Keep an eye on them towards the end to avoid overbaking.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing them into squares. This helps them set and makes cutting easier.

Notes

For an extra touch, you can sprinkle some white chocolate chips on top of the batter before baking.
