Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 count slider buns
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 tsp sriracha sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that your chicken will bake evenly and get that perfect golden color.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into slider-sized pieces. This makes it easier to fit on the buns and helps them cook evenly.
  • In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. This mixture will give your chicken a deliciously crispy coating.
  • Coat each piece of chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are well covered, and place them on a baking sheet. For best results, use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. Keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.
  • Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each piece. Then sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top.
  • Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. This step is crucial for achieving that gooey cheese topping.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, and sriracha to make the Bang Bang sauce. Adjust the sriracha to your preferred spice level!
  • Spread the Bang Bang sauce on the bottom half of each slider bun. This adds a flavorful kick right from the start.
  • Place a piece of the cheesy chicken on each bun and cover with the top half. Press down gently to secure everything in place.
  • Serve the sliders warm and enjoy! They are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven when the cheese is still hot and melty.

Notes

You can customize the level of spiciness in the Bang Bang sauce by adjusting the amount of sriracha. Feel free to add fresh basil or arugula for extra flavor.
